They say Christmas is the greatest story ever told and it must be, because its been told and retold for 2000 years! The thought that God would become flesh and live among us is still a physical, social and theological scandal. Yet God did not choose to reveal the mystery of his plan to religious leaders or scholars – but instead he chose a random collection of characters to be the first messengers of the gospel. This week we will look at Zechariah, a good man with a broken heart. We will learn how God heard his prayer and did far more than he could ever imagine.
