We are excited to meet and help you grow in faith. We know coming to a new place can be initially intimidating. Here is a helpful guide that will give you a good idea of what we’re all about, and hopefully help you feel comfortable coming to your first Sunday service.

We are intentionally located on Bell Road at the intersection of four great SW Chicago communities; Lemont, Homer Glen, Orland Park, and Palos Park.

Our service begins at 9:30 am every Sunday and usually lasts 60-70 minutes. After the service, we provide coffee and snacks in the lobby while people stay to build friendships.
We want to be an authentic and inviting community. So be yourself. If your “Sunday Best” is jeans and a nice t- shirt, great! If you want to pull out a suit or dress, great! We care more about your presence than your appearance.
No matter who you are or how you are, you can belong at Christ Community. Whether you have been going to church your whole life or this is your first time, you are welcome to spend a morning with us. We celebrate that our church is growing in diversity (age, race, religious background) and does that with grace. If you come, please be yourself, we will try to do the same!
Every service is slightly different, but the key components never change. We will always open up the Bible and apply it to our lives. We will always sing songs of reflection and praise with the worship team and a combination of guitars, piano, drums and vocalists. We will always welcome the people around us. We will always pray for people in need. And we will always generously give back to support God’s work in our church, our community, and the greater world.

Yes! Christ Community has age-appropriate groups for your children (infant–5th grade) on Sunday mornings. We’ve designed a great experience for your child to learn about God’s love for them. You can find out more about each group here. If you come in the main doors, just turn left toward the children’s wing of the church. Someone will be there to help you find your child’s group and get them started. It takes about 10 minutes to get a child registered. Feel free to register in advance and save yourself some time here.
Yes! We want to do everything we can to help you connect to God and community. You can let us know that you are coming and a team-member will be ready to welcome you and give a quick tour of the building (start here). You can always reach out to one of our ministry staff for a coffee.
