Noah

The story of Noah, the ark, 2 by 2 animals, and the flood is one of the most popular Bible stories we tell our kids. But what is the point? What are we supposed to learn from the flood story? The deep water of this story is a God who sees evil, feels our pain and acts proactively to start a new world. For those who live among messed up families, communities and countries (all of us!) this is hopeful news - God sees the wrong, feels our pain and is at work to make things new.
