For Our Families, Our Church and Our Neighbors

The Bible is full of defining moments. Moses had the burning bush, David had Goliath, Mary had the angel’s visit, the disciples had Pentecost, and Paul had the road to Damascus. Their obedience didn’t just change their life – it changed their community. God has been opening doors and opportunities for our church to take major steps forward. We have a vision for guiding our neighbors to a hope-filled future. It is incredibly exciting… and a bit scary! We believe this is a defining moment in the life of Christ Community Church. Today is the final lesson in our Defining Moments series. We will study one of the first church conflicts, the distribution of food to widows. With the early church, we will learn the importance of living out the ministry and mission of the church simultaneously.
