The Bible is full of defining moments. Moses had the burning bush, David had Goliath, Mary had the angel’s visit, the disciples had Pentecost, and Paul had the road to Damascus. Their obedience didn’t just change their life – it changed their community. God has been opening doors and opportunities for our church to take major steps forward. We have a vision for guiding our neighbors to a hope-filled future. It is incredibly exciting… and a bit scary! We believe this is a defining moment in the life of Christ Community Church. Today, we will study two divergent stories from Luke’s gospel. Both came looking for hope, but only one man found it. What was the difference? What keeps us away from a relationship with Christ?
