The people of Israel are finally on the doorstep to the promised land. Its been 40 years of wandering, maturing, learning and waiting. Two tribes approach Moses with a request, “Let us settle here, don’t make us cross the Jordan.” We aren’t that different - we would prefer to settle down, take life easy and give up on God’s promise. Settling out of fear is always before you. May 2019 be a year of faith not fear.
