Why did the early church grow so fast and spread so far? When historians look back at the rapid rise of the early church they tend to conclude that the early church grew because of its open and increasing social networks. It shouldn’t surprise us but this is exactly how Jesus sent the 72 followers in Luke 10 - Enter into new communities, stay in relationships and tell people that God is closer than they think.
