They say Christmas is the greatest story ever told and it must be, because it's been told and retold for 2000 years! The thought that God would become flesh and live among us is still a physical, social and theological scandal. Yet God did not chose to reveal the mystery of his plan to religious leaders or scholars – but instead he chose a random collection of characters to be the first messengers of the gospel. This week we will look at Joseph, an unexpected step-father to the Messiah. We will learn how God challenged and changed his faithfulness to be incorporated into an even greater story.
