Walking With Jesus… And Not Knowing It
The Road to Easter starts in the valley, goes up through the wilderness, heads into the city and reaches a critical moment on the hill of Calvary. The divine victory against sin was waged on the streets and paths of Jerusalem. This year, during Holy Week, we are studying the unexpected route God took to save the world. Easter Sunday is a day of celebration, but it starts in confusion. Two men walk back from Jerusalem with more questions than answers. A stranger joins their conversation and opens their eyes. The stranger is Jesus. We are like those travelers—regularly missing God’s presence in our lives. This Easter, we pray that we recognize Jesus' presence!
