Message: “Walking Uphill With Jesus” from Chad De Jager

The Road to Easter starts in the valley, goes up through the wilderness, heads into the city and reaches a critical moment on the hill of Calvary. The divine victory against sin was waged on the streets and paths of Jerusalem. This year, during Holy Week, we are studying the unexpected route God took to save the world. Palm Sunday is full of meaning hidden in confusion. The disciples and the crowd unknowingly fulfill the promises of the Old Testament by inaugurating a king and throwing a parade for the savior they don’t yet understand. In this confusing story, we find insight for our own confusing spiritual lives.
