Listening & Doing
There is a listening crisis in our world. Everywhere you look plenty of people are talking, but very few people are listening. Leaders in politics, sports, religion, social media are quick to comment, to say their peace - but few people really listen. James calls Christians to do the opposite. “Be quick to listen and slow to speak.” Yet that’s not our experience with church or Christians. Like the world around us we are quick to talk and seldom listen, especially to our enemies. Listen along and be challenged to listen and act like a follower of Christ.
