Forgiveness
Relationships always get broken. The breaks can be small and they can be massive, but it’s a universal fact that all relationships experience breakdowns. The main message of the scriptures is a message of reconciliation. In other words, the main message about God is that God (in Christ) is about fixing broken relationships. We often think that we are supposed to forgive the person who hurt us for their benefit, but that’s only the half of it. Forgiveness is a gift to yourself.
