The thought that God would become flesh and live among us is still a physical, social and theological scandal. Yet God did not choose to reveal the mystery of his plan to religious leaders or scholars – but instead he chose a random collection of characters to be the first messengers of the gospel. This week we will look at Zechariah, a good man with a broken heart. We will learn how God heard his prayer and did far more than he could ever imagine.
