Middle School Youth Group is a place where 6^th-8^th graders can connect with others in a faith community, grow in their relationship with God, and learn to joyfully serve others. Each week they enjoy snacks together, play games, listen to a teaching based on scripture, and wrap up with small group discussions on how the teaching can be applied to their lives. WyldLife Homer Glen & Lockport is committed to sharing with every kid in 6^th-8^th grades how much God loves them! We meet twice a month in the gym at Goodings Grove, intentionally outside the church to make that first step into a faith community just a little bit easier. Trained adult and high school mentors lead middle school students in playing crazy games, help them to make connections with other students, and we laugh together…a lot! At each club, a leader shares a brief message with students introducing them to the gospel in a way that is especially engaging to adolescents. WyldLife is a great starting point for those who don’t know Jesus and everyone is welcome!

We want to make your students’ experience in Youth Ministry as incredible as possible. If your student might benefit from additional assistance in their classes or groups, we ask that you please fill out an Individualized Worship Plan (IWP) form. This will help us better know your student and how to best plan for their time in ministry with us.

High schoolers spend time together once a week to build relationships with other teens and adult mentors who volunteer to walk with them through their faith journey. Together, they read the Bible and discuss how they can apply what they learn to their lives, along with plenty of time for playing games and laughing together! Students also have the opportunity to build relationships in the community by serving others multiple times throughout the year.

Young Life meets on Tuesday nights in one of our student’s homes, intentionally outside church, school, or anywhere that teens growing in their independence may try to avoid. Club is high energy! Teens can expect to walk into the room with their favorite music blasting and everyone singing along at the top of their lungs. Adult leaders join in and lead games that anyone can play — all to break down walls and make connections with the students. Before the night is over, a gospel message is shared tailored specifically for teens. Young Life is open to all 9th-12th graders and is especially designed to allow those who are still struggling to discover what they believe about God to belong.

Jess is in charge of all things Youth Group and WyldLife related and Marciana is in charge of Young Life.
