CloseIf you had two sentences to introduce yourself to a stranger, what would you say and what would you leave out? You might talk about where you grew up, what you do for work, what your family looks like or what you are most passionate about. These are all aspects of our identity. Understanding your identity in Christ is a foundational building block of renewal. If you aren’t certain of your identity you will spend your life trying on different descriptions. If your identity has been forgotten, recovering it will bring renewed energy. And if its certain, then you’re ready to build healthy relationships, find your purpose and commit to a life of growth. Ephesians 2 lays out a simple understanding of our identity before and after God’s grace. Listen to this week’s teaching and recover the most central aspect of your identity.
