The Dirty Work
What’s the biggest, hardest home remodeling project you’ve ever started? How long did it take? Who helped? In the long history of Israel, the rebuilding of Jerusalem by Nehemiah is among the nation’s most famous and impressive feats. Nehemiah gets the credit for the project, but it was the people who did the work. God captured Nehemiah’s heart and he led the people to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. It was hard, dangerous and dirty work. This little story is full of insights for us, people trying to rebuild our communities and rebuild our faith. Join this week’s teaching on Nehemiah.
