How To Rebuke

“You do you!” is a popular refrain of our time. At first glance it sounds like something a Christian should support, but when we think about the type of community Jesus calls us to, we see a community where we deeply care about each other. “You do you” doesn’t work when our neighbor needs a deeper level of care and support. The word rebuke shows up 100 times in the scripture. Rebuking is something far more hopeful than complaining or judging. Join this week’s teaching to consider how to receive and give rebuke in a way that builds faith and develops community.
