CloseWhen we think of idolatry (worshipping other gods) we think of animal sacrifice, wooden statues, dances and practices of other religions. We think they are ancient and aren’t something that we really have to worry about today. But what if idols take different forms. What happens if the form that idols take is actually more about what we worship than who we worship? Do maybe we worship things like time, sports, money, security, and family? What if idolatry is more prevalent than we thought? This Sunday we are going to talk about how to properly put the good things in life in their proper place before they become God things and take over and become something idolatrous.
