CloseEveryone’s been hurt. It is impossible to be in relationships without experiencing things like disappointment, frustration, betrayal, and rejection. The pain of relationships comes with the territory. Because of this, it isn’t surprising that people are increasingly tempted to avoid depth in relationships and further isolate in an attempt at self-protection. That turns out to be even more dangerous – socially isolated people are 3xs more likely to die prematurely than people with strong webs of relationships. Loneliness is more dangerous than smoking! If we are going to live with healthy relationships, we will need to learn how to seek and give forgiveness. The best concepts of forgiveness come from God’s word. Join us this Sunday as we finish this series on forgiveness.
