Message: “He Deserves It” from Chad De Jager

Pain is our common ground. It touches the lives of rich and poor, young and old, sinner and saint. Pain brings us face to face with one of life’s hardest truths – “We are not in control.” So what? What should we do with our pain? Why does pain exist? Is there hope? How do we live with pain? How do we care for others? What difference does faith make? These are the questions we will take to God and study together in this season before Easter. Today’s teaching is the third in our series. Today we will listen to Jesus describe the difference between people who trust in him during hardship and those who don’t. You may be surprised at some of the main points in today’s story, so listen closely to some of the words Jesus chose.
