Get Dressed
How do you fight a cultural, spiritual or cosmic battle? The young church in Ephesus was struggling. The way of Jesus was changing their lives, but it continued to meet resistance. For his final word of encouragement, Paul, the writer of Ephesians, reminded them of the soldiers they saw walking in their town every day, “Put on the full armor of God.” If we are going to fight spiritual battles, we better get dressed in spiritual clothes. Paul went on to describe the key characteristics of growing faith in adversity.
