Facing Yourself
Moses is famous for incredible moments of leadership. But his first attempt to help his people was a complete disaster. Instead of helping, he killed. Instead of gaining the respect of his people, he lost his home. As we read the Moses story we see that he was lost long before he was ever on the run. God brought Moses to the wilderness for his safety and his transformation. It took 40 years of quiet preparation for Moses to be ready. Moses had no idea God was working in his life, in the same way that we are often oblivious to that too.
