Do Not Judge
Two thousand years ago, a traveling Jewish teacher hiked up a hillside next to the Sea of Galilee. He sat down to teach a crowd of over 5000 people. His words about life, faith, purpose and relationships are considered to this day to be the most brilliant single teaching ever given. This week’s teaching is so important for anyone who lives near other people (that means everyone!). You can’t live long without having to make decisions. And when you do, you will run into conflict, disagreements and differences of opinion among the people who live near you who have made other decisions. Jesus commanded his followers, “Do not judge?” How do we survive in this world without judging? Together, we will study the words of Jesus and learn the key differences between judgment and discernment.
