Streams in the Desert
If you made a list of the 5 “deadest” places on earth, the desert would have to be on the list. The concept of desert is something most of us can relate to. Nothing grows in the desert. It's just sand, heat and more sand. The people of Israel have always been close to the desert. It was east of them across the Jordan river. It was south of them in Sinai. And it was in their history, long dry season where good things died and new life didn’t come. 750 years before the birth of Christ Isaiah took people to the desert to draw a picture of what would happen when the messiah came. His vision is hope for us today. Listen with us and find hope for God’s coming and the transformation it brings.
