We often think of time as something we manage—our schedules, deadlines, and responsibilities all dictating how our days unfold. But Scripture reminds us that time is not just ours to control; it is something God ordains. There are seasons for planting and harvesting, for waiting and acting, for sorrow and joy. This week, we are invited to recognize that the time is ripe—God is moving, and He is calling us to step into what He is doing.

Psalm 126 paints a picture of God’s faithfulness in seasons of restoration. What was once barren is now full, and those who sowed in tears now reap with joy. Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that there is a time for everything, and 2 Chronicles 7 calls us to humility and repentance, for God hears and heals when His people turn to Him.

Isaiah 61 declares a time of renewal—the brokenhearted will be comforted, prisoners will be set free, and beauty will rise from ashes. Jesus Himself read this passage in the synagogue, announcing that in Him, this promise had come to pass. In Luke 1, Zechariah sings a song of expectation, proclaiming that God’s mercy is dawning like the sunrise, guiding our feet into the way of peace.

But stepping into God’s timing requires awareness. Psalm 95 urges us not to harden our hearts, and Ephesians 5 reminds us to walk wisely, making the most of every opportunity because the days are fleeting. When God says the time is ripe, we must be ready to move.

What season are you in? Is it a time for planting or harvesting, waiting or acting, mourning or rejoicing? Whatever the answer, know that God is at work, and He is inviting you to trust His timing. The time is ripe—will you step forward in faith?
